Senior Ministries
PrimeTimers
PrimeTimers describes the attributes of our
senior adults; in the prime of lie and experiencing
good times together. Fellowship meetings, which
include lunch and entertainment, are held on
the last Tuesday of each month at 11:00 AM in
the church fellowship hall (no fellowships in
June or July). Trips to a variety of destinations
are held throughout the year.
PrimeTimers are on the go…with God!
Goldenheirs
Goldenheirs
is the title selected for our senior adult choir.
Membership requirements include reaching age
55 (or beyond) and loving to praise our Lord
in song. Beginning in October, practice is held
on Wednesday mornings at 11:00AM in the choir
suite, followed by a bring-your-own-lunch fellowship
at noon. Goldenheirs often lead in worship.
The year culminates with a Spring Tour, in which
the group travels for several days, ministering
through song in churches, personal care homes,
and other facilities in a selected area.

At Home
At Home ministry's aim is to provide service
to those who are confined to their homes through
personal visits, telephone calls, and correspondence.
A staff of volunteers deliver Church literature,
such as magazines and daily devotionals, as
well as video or audiocassettes of First Baptist
Church services. This ministry also functions
as a liaison between the members visited and
the Pastoral staff, allowing needs to be ascertained
and appropriate actions taken to meet such needs.
The Senior Adult Ministry division of First
Baptist Church is comprised of several Bible
Study classes, meeting the needs of their membership.
Each class plans social activities, from dinners
to cruises, throughout the year and ministers
to each other in many ways.
