Kitchen
 First
Baptist Church has an active kitchen ministry,
lead faithfully by Susie Buck. Weekly, Susie
and her volunteer staff, prepare dinner for
the church family on Wednesday. Sunday mornings
are made less confusing for Bible Study attenders
because the kitchen ministry furnishes breakfast
at DayBreak Cafe'. Coffee, milk, juice, and
continental breakfast items are provided at
8:30am each Sunday. Many other occasions find
Susie and her conscientious crew in the kitchen;
good smells, good food and good fellowship abound.
Whether its cookies for a special event, icees
for Vacation Bible School, or dinner for Prime
Timers, the Kitchen Mininsty is ready to serve!
Greeters

Is there a place for everyone in my family?
These are just a few of the questions our greeters
will help to answer when a visitor enters our
church campus. Located at four strategic points
around the church grounds, this congenial group
of people is ready to assist and welcome guests
to God's house.
Men's Ministry
 The
men of First Baptist Church are an active group,
seeking to serve God in their heart, in their
church, in their community, and in the world.
Several small groups meet weekly for Bible Study,
prayer, and personal encouragement. Annual events
include a Spring Golf Tournament and the Fall
Skeet Shoot and Barbeque. As a group, the men
attend Promise Keeper Conferences, including
traveling to Washington, DC in 1997 for the
Stand In The Gap rally and day of prayer. In
our community, the men of our church serve in
leadership roles, volunteer uncounted hours,
and advance God's work through integrity. Mission
groups have traveled throughout the hemisphere,
furthering God's Kingdom by aiding in construction
of churches, assisting in recovery from natural
disasters, and assembling with fellow believers
in evangelism efforts.
Women's Ministry
A developing ministry at First Baptist, the
women of the church are active and involved
in numerous programs.
A weekly women's prayer group is faithful to
lift the needs of our congregation to the Lord
and to thank him for answered prayer.
Several of Beth Moore's Bible Studies for Women
have been, and are currently, offered.
Annually, as a group, the women of First Baptist
attend the Women of Faith conference in Tampa
or Orlando.

Media
 Dedicated!
That one word describes each member of the Media
Ministry.
Running the sound board or manning a camera,
producing the video broadcast or running new
wiring, the media team serves God with their
technical talents.
First Baptist Church Media Ministry broadcasts
Sunday worship service on Comcast Cable Channel
5 each week.
DVD, VHS, CD, or audio cassettes of each service are
also available. To request a copy of any service, please contact the
church office, 676-3436 x226.
